The guide that checks before it writes

Laponie365 is an independent guide to Finnish Lapland and Rovaniemi. Our aim is to help travellers prepare a trip that is expensive and booked far in advance, with prices we have checked, operators we have compared, and the advice we would give a friend.

Our method

Every figure carries its source and its year. When an operator raises its prices, we update the number, not the sentence. When something is not yet announced, we say so instead of copying an unverified projection from another site.

The English edition

The English edition is not a machine translation of the French one. It is written for readers flying from Britain and North America, often on a short package or a single-day charter, which is a very different trip from the one a French family plans. So we cost the day trip honestly, and we say plainly when it is not worth it.

This edition is growing article by article. The complete guide, with every price and comparison, is so far only available in French.

The guide is funded by advertising, by affiliate links on hotel and activity bookings, and by partner content that is always labelled as such. No operator can buy its way into our selection: the editorial team decides, and only the editorial team.
